Hollow Ground Nakiri
This beautiful nakiri, had started life out as a bunch of used bandsaw blades. The bandsaw blades were forge welded to 1095 and then used to clad 80crv2. The handle is then constructed of African blackwood, a blue g-carta bolster with a light blue acrylic top cap. It is all elegantly carved to fit the users hand beautifully. The finish on the blade is a long etch in instant coffee which brings out the contrast in the differing steels. Everything is then given a light coating with axe wax to protect it in transit to the end user.
